Democracy Starts in Our Neighborhood

The decisions that shape our daily lives often begin close to home. From the future of our neighborhood to the issues facing New York City and beyond, local participation matters.

New Chelsea Democrats is being formed to give our community a place to come together, exchange ideas, discuss the issues that matter to us, and participate in the democratic process. We believe that a strong club starts with engaged neighbors, open conversation, and a shared commitment to making our voices heard.

We're building this organization together, and there's room for you at the table.

Be Part of the Conversation

Whether you've been involved in Democratic politics for decades or are just beginning to explore ways to participate, New Chelsea Democrats welcomes people who want to make a difference in their community.

Membership offers an opportunity to connect with neighbors, take part in club meetings and discussions, learn more about local political issues, and explore ways to get involved in community and electoral activities. You don't need to be a political expert or have years of experience. Bring your ideas, your questions, and your willingness to participate.

As a new organization, we're laying the groundwork for what comes next. Members will have an opportunity to help shape the club's priorities, activities, and future.

Help Us Build Something New

Membership dues help establish the foundation for New Chelsea Democrats and support the work of bringing people together. As we get organized, dues can help cover club operations, meetings, events, community outreach, and communications.

We're launching late in the year, so we're keeping membership accessible while we get established.

Join New Chelsea Democrats for the remainder of 2026 and be part of our community as we begin building for the year ahead.

Every membership helps us grow, connect with our neighbors, and create a stronger foundation for local participation. We look forward to growing together.
